Pan de Muerto
Soft, sweet, and made with orange blossom and love, our Pan de Muerto is back for Día de Muertos.
A tradition that brings families together, baked fresh by Mercado Panadería and shared across our kitchens.
Because in Mexico, we don’t fear death, we celebrate life, memory, and the love that outlasts both.
More Than Bread… It’s a Connection.
Every year, families in Mexico prepare Pan de Muerto to honor the ones who return to visit.
Its scent fills the home orange blossom, anise, and sugar welcoming loved ones with warmth and remembrance.
At Mercado, we carry that same feeling into every loaf: a piece of culture, baked for the living and the remembered.
Each loaf is handmade, brushed with butter, and dusted with sugar soft on the inside, golden on the outside.
The little “bones” on top? They symbolize the circle of life and the hands that shaped it.
It’s tradition, crafted daily with care and heart.
